چکیده

Abstract High-rise buildings (multi-storey buildings) are currently increasing in development, accordance with their functions as apartments, offices, shopping centers or educational activities. In the implementation of high-rise building construction involves a lot resources. One resources needed large quantities is material. process implementing construction, addition to results obtained buildings, but during it produces waste Waste material generated not only affects productivity project, also environment. Therefore, necessary identify amount especially column structure work buildings. The purpose this study was determine projects, reinforced concrete structures object research project one University city Makassar. identification done through literature review, observation and secondary data. variables reviewed wood, reinforcing steel, concrete, bendrat wire. sampling method purposive sampling. showed that most form wood used formwork. percentage comes from use formwork around 21.9%. Furthermore, originating steel ranges 0.06% 0.40%. main cause formwork, indicated demolition good, so cannot be more than twice.

Crack Resistant Concrete Material for Transportation Construction

Most transportation infrastructures are exposed to a combination of mechanical and environmental loads. Normal concrete is brittle and tends to crack, resulting in a lack of durability and frequent repair needs. This paper describes an ultra ductile cementitious composite which is highly crack resistant, with a tensile strain capacity over three hundred times that of normal concrete. Apart from...

The Efficiency of Hybrid BNN-DWT for Predicting the Construction and Demolition Waste Concrete Strength

The current study focuses on two main goals. First, with the use of construction and demolition (C&D) of building materials, a new aggregate was produced and it was utilized for green concrete production. The compressive strength test confirmed the good function of C&DW aggregate concrete. This concrete did not show significant differences with natural sand concrete. Second, Backpropagation neu...

Finite Element Analysis of Reinforced Concrete Column Under Lateral Load

To serve its purpose a structure must be safe against collapse and serviceable in use. Serviceability requires that deflections be adequately small to keep the cracks within tolerable limits. Although the widely followed ACI Code suggests a detailed method of deflection calculation, it often cannot exactly perceive the actual behavior of a structure. For this purpose, finite element analysis, u...
